Shana earns Certified Recognition Specialist Designation

Shana Kayne Beach, CRS, Majority Owner and Project Lead, Chase Street Accessories & Engraving has earned her Certified Recognition Specialist (CRS) designation, an achievement shared by less than 5% of all awards professionals nationwide. The CRS certification marks one of the highest levels of professional accomplishments in the awards, personalization and engraving industry, achieved by completing 70 hours of technical and marketing/business seminars sponsored or approved by the Awards and Personalization Association, an international trade organization with thousands of members worldwide. The CRS designation was conferred upon Beach on March 5, 2021 during the association’s Awards and Personalization Association’s virtual Member Business Meeting.

Their state-of-the-art engraving and customization services unite in-house production with an international network of socially-conscious suppliers and vendors. The Chase Street A&E production team’s decoration services include laser engraving, rotary engraving, heat transfer printing, full-color sublimation printing, embroidery, and more. Chase Street A&E has a unique history. It was originally named “Chase Street Accessories” after a sign that had been on the building since 2004 from a store that shuttered in 2009. The team originally expected to primarily serve awards clients but soon realized the city’s demand for apparel, branded promotional specialties, and personalized gifts. In August of 2020, Chase Street A&E established its promotional division, which specializes in leveraging a select network of vendors to outsource large projects.

Chase Street A&E has gained a reputation as a socially-conscious organization with a dedication to improving the Baltimore community. In 2019, the team donated a portion of the profits from a popular gift item to organizations that support inner-city youth, prompting the Washington Post to publish a profile on the business. In 2020, Chase Street A&E was a Partner Sponsor of the virtual Baltimore Children’s Business Fair and provided all the swag and awards for the participants. Additionally, Chase Street A&E manufactured and donated over $12K worth of personal protective equipment to Baltimore City organizations during the COVID-19 pandemic. 

The Awards and Personalization Association, based in Chicago, Illinois, is an international nonprofit membership organization serving dealers and suppliers in the awards, personalization and engraving industry.
